1. About these terms
These terms apply to ChunkLoom accounts, free services, paid subscriptions, support, and the Minecraft servers we provide. By creating an account or ordering a service, you agree to these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. Before paid launch, this page will identify the legal operator, business address, and governing jurisdiction.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve and own the paid account. Provide accurate account information, keep login details secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Services, licences, and resource limits
Each plan includes stated limits for memory, CPU, storage, backups, and other resources. Player figures are guidance rather than guarantees because performance depends on software, plugins, mods, world size, and player activity. Before the first start of a Minecraft server, you must read and accept the Minecraft End User License Agreement when prompted in the game panel. You are also responsible for the licences and terms of any plugins, mods, or server software you install. We may pause or throttle a server that threatens node stability, and will explain the reason whenever practicable.
4. Free service
The free plan is capacity-limited, manually approved, limited to one account per person or household, and may sleep while inactive. It is offered without an uptime commitment. We may remove abandoned free servers after advance notice. Attempts to evade limits or create duplicate accounts may lead to all related accounts being closed.
5. Payments, renewal, and cancellation
Paid plans renew at the interval displayed during checkout until cancelled. The checkout page will show the total price and applicable tax before payment. You may cancel future renewal from the customer area. Cancellation normally leaves service active until the paid period ends. Statutory consumer cancellation and refund rights continue to apply where the law requires them.
6. Backups and customer responsibility
Plan backups are stored on the same physical VPS during the launch month and are intended for recovery from common mistakes, not as disaster-proof archives. Keep your own downloaded copy of any world you cannot afford to lose. We do not guarantee that every backup will be recoverable.
7. Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep paid services available but do not promise uninterrupted operation during the founding month. Emergency maintenance may happen without advance notice. Planned work will be announced when reasonably possible. Any service credit policy will be stated separately and does not limit mandatory legal rights.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access to investigate abuse, security threats, unpaid invoices, or material breaches. Serious or illegal abuse may result in immediate termination and preservation or disclosure of records where legally required. For less serious issues, we will normally offer a reasonable chance to correct the problem.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChunkLoom is not responsible for indirect losses, lost game progress, or loss caused by customer software, third-party plugins, attacks, or events outside reasonable control.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes will be dated and, for existing paid customers, announced through the customer area or verified account email. Questions and legal notices can be sent through the Support page until the permanent service address is published.
